The Anti-Phone Scheme

Nobody is answering their phone today. Well, that's not exactly true - two or three people who I called DID answer. However, another two people, who I needed to speak to a lot more, did NOT answer. I, also, did not answer my phone when most people called today. I answered two calls and ignored two people consistently. I will call them back later, IY"H. But right now, I don't have the headspace to talk to them. I need the two people who didn't answer ME to answer their phones, tell me what I need to know, and then I can make phone calls and sort through the rest of my day.

I think, or rather, I thought, while beginning this post, that the world was scheming not to answer my phone calls today. I guess that's not true. And if the world IS scheming not to answer phone calls, then I am in on the scheme.
